The printer program indicates whether a printing job has been started or received. The status for a printing job is shown in the printing program that may be opened by clicking open the notification icon (near the clock in Windows). The printing program wants to show a pop up message always when a printing request has been received, when printing is commenced or finished. These messages may be turned off in the menu by clicking Show.
